I’m Sonny, a Cheltenham local who’s been pulling computers apart since primary school. Honest repairs at fair prices, quoted up front, and I’ll travel to you.

what i don’t do
- Custom PC builds. There are shops that specialise in this and do it better.
- Phone and tablet repairs. Different tools, different trade. I can still help with the software side, like setting up a new phone or moving everything across.
- Printers. Honestly, a new one is usually cheaper than the time it'd take me to fix the old one.
- Anything still under warranty. Use the warranty first, it's free.
If it’s on this list, I’ll point you to someone who does it well.
how it works
Four steps, no surprises
- 1
Text me what's wrong
A sentence and a photo is plenty. I'll reply with what it probably is and roughly what it'll cost.
- 2
Quote first, always
You get a firm price before I touch anything. If the fix costs more than the machine is worth, I'll tell you that too.
- 3
I come to you
Laptops and house calls anywhere around Bayside. Desktop towers can be dropped off at my place in Cheltenham.
- 4
Pay when it's fixed
Bank transfer once you've seen it working. No fix, no fee, and the repair's covered after: same fault back and I'll redo it free.

who’s the taylor?
Just me, actually
I’m Sonny Taylor. 18, Bayside born and raised, and the person half the street already calls when a computer plays up. I’ve been fixing them since I was about twelve, and spent a couple of years working in a computer repair shop before going out on my own.
My dad runs The Door Taylor, so mending things for locals is more or less the family trade. I’m not a big company pretending to be small. It’s just me and a toolkit. That’s why it’s cheap, and why the person you text is the person who turns up.
- no shopfront, no overheads
- if it's not worth fixing, i'll say so

the bit everyone wants to ask
Fair questions
You’re handing a stranger your computer. Here’s the honest answer to everything you’re probably wondering.
01Is my data safe with you?
Yes. I don't go through your files, and nothing leaves your machine. Most repairs never touch your data at all. For the few jobs that could (a Windows reinstall, data recovery) I'll tell you before I start and can back everything up first.
02Will I lose my files?
Almost never. A screen, battery, RAM or SSD job doesn't touch what's on your drive. The one repair that does is a full Windows reinstall, and there I keep your files aside, or do a complete backup first for $40.
03What if you can't fix it?
Then you pay nothing. No fix, no fee. And if the repair would cost more than the machine is worth, I'll tell you that instead of taking your money for it.
04Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes. Every paid repair is covered for 90 days. If the same fault comes back in that time, I'll redo it at no charge.
05How long does a repair take?
Most jobs are same-day or next-day once I've got the part in hand. You'll get a realistic timeframe when I quote, not a vague “we'll call you”.
06Do you charge to come out?
No. The callout and the diagnostic are both free anywhere around Bayside. You only ever pay for the actual fix, once it's done and you've seen it working.
07How do I pay?
Bank transfer (PayID) once the job's finished, or cash if you'd rather. No deposit, and no card details up front.
08Are you actually qualified?
I've been pulling computers apart since primary school and spent two years working in a computer repair shop before going out on my own, so this isn't a side hustle I picked up last week. I'm just not a franchise with a call centre: you text me directly, I turn up, and you don't pay a cent until it works.
